Bloody Scotland is Under Way

  18 Sep '20   |  Posted by: Birlinn

Scotland’s Crime Writing festival, Bloody Scotland, has moved online and is under way. Popcorn, beer/coffee, screen – you are sorted. As with every other literary festival across the UK, in-person events are not an option at this time. Instead, Bloody Scotland has taken a creative approach to virtual events. You can view the full programme here. And it’s all free, all weekend! 18-20 September 2020.

Our writers, Morgan Cry (Gordon Brown), Sandra Ireland and Doug Skelton are all taking part. Click on any of the author’s names to take you to our events page.

And on Sunday, as a special Bloody Scotland weekend treat, you can read a multi-author Glencairn / Bloody Scotland short story in the Sunday Post newspaper. Morgan Cry, author of Thirty-One Bones, joins debut authors Deborah Masson, Francine Toon, Marion Todd and Stephen O’Rourke. The short story is called ‘One With the Glass’.

Get your Crime-Fix this weekend with our special offer across a selection of our Crime fiction titles. All your favourites are included – Denzil Meyrick, Morgan Cry, Sandra Ireland, Shirley McKay, Douglas Skelton and more. Enjoy!
