Exciting news! We have two books longlisted for the Highland Book Prize 2025, Benbecula by Graeme Macrae Burnet, and The Edge of Silence: In Search of the Disappearing Sounds of Nature by Neil Ansell.

This annual award celebrates literature that comes from the rich landscape and culture of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. We are very proud to publish many books that centre the Highlands and help share the stories of their history, culture, and nature with the world. 

Each of the longlisted titles will be celebrated in a series of events supported by the William Grant Foundation. The shortlist will be announced in May 2026, and the winning announcement is to follow in June 2026.
