Today, tickets for the much-anticipated Edinburgh International Book Festival have gone on sale! We have a fantastic selection of Birlinn and Polygon authors speaking at a wide range of events throughout the festival, taking place from 12th-28th August. Read on to find out more about each:

Saturday 12th August, 10:45am
The Hidden Fires by Merryn Glover
Recent years have seen a seismic shift in nature writing. Join two authors who entwine historical narratives of courageous women with their own experiences of the great outdoors. Tickets available here.

Wednesday 16th August, 5:00pm
Three Fires by Denise Mina
Denise Mina joins us to discuss Three Fires and its protagonist Girolamo Savonarola, a friar in 15th century Florence whose bombastic sermons led to the infamous ‘Bonfire of the Vanities’. Tickets available here.

War Paths by Alistair Moffat
