International Gin Day

The perfect excuse to try a new gin or enjoy an old favourite – World Gin Day 2020! Whether you preference is for one of the stunning new gins from the Scottish islands, or a boutique Plymouth gin, best enjoyed in the sunshine and sea breezes of the South West of England, or indeed a London gin in… well, London – this is the day to sip without guilt.

In 2020, we are still in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown as World Gin Day comes around but local wine and spirit merchants were amongst the essential shops given permission to stay open and so, you can have your bottle of choice delivered to your home or pick up an order at your favourite local shop.

Confused as to what to try? Turn to Ian Buxton’s 101 Gins to Try Before you Die for inspiration and a timely and very personal guide to gins from all over the world. The best-selling book is funny, informative and a delight to read – with or without a glass in hand.

Dive right in! And dream of days when we sit with friends and share conversation face-to-face. In the meantime, there is Zoom.
