Iain Maloney’s Spotify Playlists

We love it when books and songs come together, and The Only Gaijin in the Village by Iain Maloney is a prime example. In this charming memoir of a Scotsman’s year spent in rural Japan, each chapter is named after or inspired by a song (our particular favourite: ‘Idiot Wind’, all about typhoons!).

With this in mind, here are four Spotify playlists to accompany the book, compiled by Iain. So, grab your copy, put your headphones in and head into the sunshine to read The Only Gaijin in the Village with the perfect soundtrack.
