Getting the story of our plants out there – Scottish Plant Lore

  27 May '20   |  Posted by: Birlinn

Gregory Kenicer, author of Scottish Plant Lore : An Illustrated Flora has created two quirky and stylish little videos to make you smile. You can see them here and on social media. You can also read a feature on the book in the Scotsman on 27 May 2020.

Dr Greg Kenicer is a botanist at Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden. His PhD looked at DNA, diversity and evolution of pulses. After its completion he returned to Edinburgh and joined RBGE’s thriving education department, where he has worked ever since. Last week he became a star of the virtual Chelsea Flower Show, talking about one of our favourite garden plants, the Sweet Pea.
