Dave has built up a considerable international following, with regular training and educational visits to Japan, France, Holland, Scandinavia, Germany, Africa and North America. He is involved in whisky education and acts as a consultant to major distillers on tasting techniques as well as training professionals and the public. Dave’s previous books include three editions of The World Atlas of Whisky, Whisky: The Manual, Gin: The Manual, Rum: The Manual, The Japanese Way of Whisky and A Sense of Place.
