Hans Offringa has written 50 books about

whisky, including the bestselling A Field Guide to

Whisky. He is a Keeper of the Quaich and the

only Dutchman to have been inducted into the

Whisky Hall of Fame. In 2017 he received the

Lifetime International Ambassador of the Spirit

of Speyside Whisky Festival Award, and in 2019

was made Honorary Ambassador of the Scotch

Malt Whisky Society. He and his wife Becky (The

Whisky Couple) spend their time in the USA,

Scotland and the Netherlands.
