Freeland Barbour at Further From Festival
Freeland Barbour and Gerda Stevenson have created a musical tribute to Carolina Oliphant, otherwise known as Lady Nairne. A hugely prolific songwriter in the time of Robert Burns, producing some of Scotland’s most popular tunes including Charlie is my Darling and Will Ye No Come Back Again, her reluctance to claim public credit means she remains little known. Freeland Barbour, a distant relative of Lady Nairne, is set to change all that with The White Rose of Gask.
Ticket includes refreshments.
