Freeland Barbour is the author of the book The White Rose of Gask which charts the life, songs and poems of Caroline Oliphant, Lady Nairne.
Lady Nairne wrote many of Scotland’s best known songs, such a ‘Caller Herrin’ and ‘The Rowan Tree’ and her biographer along with poet and singer, Gerda Stevenson, will highlight some of her work.
