The way to Santiago de Compostela is one of the world’s great pilgrim routes; almost 300,000 people officially complete it every year. Richard tells the story of his own journey in all its ups and downs and considers why putting one foot in front of another can change a life, for the secular and religious alike.

Richard Frazer is minister at Greyfriars Kirk in the heart of Edinburgh. He has studied in Scotland, England and the USA and has worked in Italy and the USA. As well as being committed to parish ministry, he has a longstanding interest in sustainable agriculture, pilgrimage walking, gardening, sailing and writing.
