Cameron Wyllie is the author of ‘Is There A Pigeon in the Room? My Life in Schools‘. He has always lived in Edinburgh and taught English at Daniel Stewart’s and Melville College before moving to George Heriot’s School, where he ended his career as Principal, retiring in 2017. Since then, he has written for The Scotsman, Holyrood Magazine, other periodicals and blogs.

Jean Findlay is a playwright, journalist and author who has worked in literature all her adult life in London and abroad. Her last book, ‘Chasing Lost Time’, the much-celebrated biography of the translator of Proust, CK Scott Moncrieff, was published by Chatto and Windus in London and FSG in New York. She founded and currently runs Scotland Street Press, a growing Edinburgh Publishing house, and lives happily in Edinburgh with her husband and children.

Emma Wild-Wood is Professor of African Religions and World Christianity at the University of Edinburgh and is currently working on the intersection between faith and COVID-19 in Congo. She is the author of ‘The Mission of Apolo Kivebulaya Religious Encounter & Social Change in the Great Lakes c.1865-1935’. She was the Director of the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide and a Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity of the University of Cambridge. She taught in Bunia in DR Congo and Uganda for several years.
