As part of Blackhall Library’s Book Week Scotland celebrations, award-winning storyteller Mara Menzies will be performing a selection of incredible stories for all ages, drawn from her dual Kenyan/Scottish heritage.

Taking inspiration from her own experiences, global issues and the world around her to craft stories that speak to wider themes, Mara creates a dexterous blend of poignant narrative, myth and legend that invites us to reflect and consider the world anew.
