Freeland Barbour: The White Rose of Gask: The Life and Songs of Carolina Oliphant, Lady Nairne

Freeland, one of Scotland’s leading accordionists, writes about his ancestor, who wrote over 80 songs including ‘Charlie Is My Darling’ yet never acknowledged her authorship. Freeland is joined by actress Gerda Stevenson, to bring to life some of Lady Nairne’s traditional songs.
