Iona Lee at Lost in Leith

Lost in Leith presents a curated event of prose, poetry and music, hosted by Anita Govan. Featuring Iona Lee, I Am Pluto and Charlie Roy.

Iona Lee is a writer, artist, music-maker, storyteller and spoken-word performer from Edinbrugh, with a penchant for the arcane and uncanny. Her debut poetry collection, Anamnesis, was shortlisted for the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award, and appeared on SNACK Magazine’s top ten list of books published in Scotland in 2023.

Craig Finnie [I Am Pluto] has appeared before us in various guises and has never once failed to mesmerise. Where lyrical prowess, subtle tones and delicate yet intricate melodies waltz together, is where these songs dwell; Finnie brings us NickDrake(ism) for the Neu! generation’. – Michael Pedersen (Neu! Reekie!)

Charlie Roy’s first novel, The Broken Pane, was received as Debut of the Year in the Publishing Scotland and Scots Whay Hae! review of Best Books of 2021. She is jointly responsible for the running of Stewed Rhubarb Press, a small independent poetry publisher, a publicist for Tapsalteerie and a freelance writer.
