Ghillie Basan launches ‘Seafood Journey’ at The Taster of Inverness


The Taster of Inverness is a celebration of our local food and drink in the region.

Join Ghillie Basan to her about her journey of becoming a culinary writer and learn more about Ghillie’s background that has lead her to where and who she is today. We will hear about the food and drink experiences Ghillie supports in Morayshire, and the experiences she also offers herself to visitors. Ghillie will be showcasing how adventure and food go hand in hand, we think you’ll enjoy this one!

Ghillie will also be signing copies of her fantastic new cook book, Seafood Journey: Tastes and Tales from Scotland before and after her talk. Featuring over 90 recipes with a huge variety of local produce, this book is a celebration in recipes, stories and photographs of a key part of Scotland’s culinary heritage.

You will get a chance to taste the local food and drink on offer, as well as a fantastic opportunity to network amongst other like minded individuals and businesses.

Thursday 2nd November between 10am and 3pm, with Ghillie speaking at 1.15pm
