The hosts of brand new podcast Quines Cast bring us an evening of feminist thought, music, theatre and literature to provide retreat, renewal and solidarity for women and other marginalised genders. In a special Book Festival event, hosts Caitlin Skinner, the Artistic Director of Stellar Quines Theatre Company, and poet, playwright and performer Hannah Lavery welcome guests including the much-loved Scottish writer Denise Mina, the singer-songwriter and seven-times winner at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Karine Polwart who plays a short set, and award-winning journalist and author Chitra Ramaswamy, along with a new short play from playwright Sara Shaarawi. Come along to join the first ever live show, responding to the theme of ‘City’.
