Why He Writes

A highly regarded columnist, critic and leader writer for The Times, and now novelist, Hugo brings our first day of events to an event full of anecdote, insight and – we hope – opinion. Why is writing still such an integral part of a world so dependent on  visual impact – from so-called ‘influencers’ to serious news footage?
