In association with The Highland Society of London and The Highland Book Prize, the Highland Bookshop are welcoming Alan McKirdy to The Highland Bookshop who will take us on a fascinating geological exploration of Scotland, with a focus on the Western Highlands.

Alan is very well known in the realms of Scottish geology and is the author of numerous, extremely popular titles on the subject including Set in Stone, Land of Mountain & Flood and his Landscapes in Stone series. His most recent book, Northern Highlands has been nominated for the Highland Book Prize 2019.
